We would like to start with a big thank you to all our customers who have supported our takeaway venture, it has been overwhelming the support each and every one of you have given and has been really heart-warming with the positive feedback we have had. We will be continuing our online and takeaway service while people are still using it.

Our doors are already Open for the shop and takeaway but from Thursday July 9th we will also be opening the restaurant for customers to Dine Inside. It's great news that we are allowed to unlock our doors, but we have to be cautious if we are to stay open. We desperately want to keep you, our other guests and our team safe… so that we can eventually get back to the ‘old normal’.

To achieve this, we have put lots of new processes and systems in place to keep within the Government guidelines and to keep you and our team safe. We thought it best to highlight some key points here…

Our new service

  • We won’t be running a booking system initially

  • We will have a meet and greet person to welcome you and explain all our new procedures to you and show you to your table

  • Your order will be taken from your table so please stay at your table where possible

  • We only have tables available for up to 4 people (subject to availability) with a maximum of 2 households at any one table

  • During your visit we need to capture the Names & Contact details of each household, so please fill in your details on the disposable menu we provide you with

  • We will be serving lunch from 11.30am – 3.00pm, Coffee & Cake will be available all day. (If you are considering just coffee and cake please consider our takeout service and make use of our garden areas…. when it’s not raining obviously!

  • We will keep as many doors and windows open as possible…. to improve ventilation and reduce contact with handles. Please bring a jumper with you just in case you feel the cold

Reduced Offering

  • We have reduced our food menu slightly, we have kept all our favourites, but a slightly smaller range in order to keep a safer kitchen

  • Lunch service will only be offered inside and will not be serving to our outside areas until we know we can get it right inside

  • Our outside garden areas will be open to consume all our online & takeaway products with disposable cutlery available

  • We will be operating a CASHLESS business for the foreseeable future. Payment via cards / Contactless / Apple Pay. Please bring you cards with you there is no minimum payment. We will NOT be accepting Cash

Our Pledge to keep YOU & OUR TEAM safe

  • We have incorporated a touch point cleaning regime with a dedicated member of the team sanitising key touch points throughout the day

  • Hand Sanitiser stations are placed frequently throughout the shop and restaurant please use them frequently

  • We have reduced the number of tables and chairs to create a much more open dining area to accommodate the 1m government guidelines

  • Every member of our team has been given Covid 19 Training

  • We have disposable food menus & condiments

  • We have reduced the size of our food menu to help the safety of our kitchen

  • Whilst government guidelines do not require them to be worn, face masks, gloves & face visors are available to all our team

  • We already have a 5-star food hygiene rating however we have enhanced our cleaning regimes in the back of house

  • We have strict hygiene procedures for all employees entering the building

  • All employees have their own working zones with hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser stations to ensure government guidelines are adhered to

  • We have done a Covid risk assessment for the business

  • We will keep as many doors and windows open as possible…. to improve ventilation and reduce contact with handles

We know this can be very confusing and frustrating for you as customer, but we really are trying our best to keep everyone safe. We would like to ask please take a moment to consider our staff during what is an extremely stressful time for them. If you have any concerns, please use your meet and greet person as a point of contact who will be more than happy to help.

Let’s remember we are all in this together so let’s work through this together. We hope that you will feel safe to pay us a visit soon. It’s been too long.
