Charles Stone paintings sale

Please join us on Monday 22 August, from 6pm-9pm

As many of you may know by now, the Stone Family are leaving The Bottle Kiln after 37 years here. It has been a very happy and productive period, but we are ready to move on and pass the baton on to the new owners, the Clarkes, who will be taking over in September.

We have had two previous sales of our late father’s work, but given that we still have a considerable amount of work in storage here, and that it was his wish for it to be on people’s walls, we are having one final sale, on Monday the 22nd of August, from 6-9pm. There is a real mix of work, both in style and size, and prices will be very affordable as we want to find homes for as many paintings as possible.

There will be drinks and nibbles, and every penny raised on the evening from the sale of Charles' paintings will go to the UNHCR to help the very urgent need of victims of war, something that we feel is particularly pressing at the moment. In addition it is a great opportunity for us to catch up with the very many friends we have made along the way here with so many wonderful longstanding Bottle Kiln customers.

So come along and get a lasting memento (or two!) and swap some stories about Charles, the Kiln, and your visits and memories. It will be a pleasure to see you,

The Stones
